Mr. Goth has over 40 years in the mining business. His career included over 30 years with Climax Molybdenum/Amax. He stared as a resident physical metallurgist at the Climax mine and continued as a metallurgical development engineer and on into sales and management. He was President of the Climax Molybdenum division at the time of the Henderson Mine opening. He retired as a Senior Executive Vice President and a member of the Amax Executive Office. He graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Metallurgical Engineering and from McGill University with a Master of Engineering degree in Metallurgy. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration from the South Dakota School of Mines. He attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Goth is a Fellow of the American Society of Metals and a member of AIME and CMA. He has been a director of several major mining companies and continues this activity with Behre Dolbear and Royal Gold. He has been listed in various biographical reference books including Who's Who in the World, Directory of Distinguished Americans, Who's Who in Engineering, and Men of Achievement.
